Maine is "the way life should be" and this beautiful state, along with my travels have inspired me to pursue Interior Design. For this reason we created Salt of Maine Design Co.- a boutique Interiors focused firm servicing clients all over Maine and beyond.
While studying at the New York School of Interior Design, I became enamored with the concept of Biophilic Design. I approach each project with an emphasis on connecting the individuals within the space to their exterior environments in variety of creative ways. Expert studies suggest this holistic approach to design can improve both mental health and productivity. I believe any investments into ones interior environment shows a prioritization of ones overall health and wellbeing - which is always worthwhile.
It's all in the details for me, and no detail goes unnoticed.
With a dash of salt- a little bit can go a long way to properly enhance almost any dish. Similarly, a dash of collaboration with Salt of Maine Design Co. can reveal something beautiful and uniquely yours.
Maine's salty-air and summer sun inspire me greatly and walks through these woods energize and revive me. Raw materials such as brick and metal excite me, and finding vintage treasures is an adventure for which I'm always packed and ready.
I am a wife and mother of three with two additional fur-babies Hoover and Dyson our sweet English Cream Retrievers.
